Sorry for being fake!

I realized something about social media…

I only post when I’m relaxed, have a relatively low work load, have it all sorted out and I feel like putting something out in the world.

When I’m having an off day, feel overwhelmed, stressed out or simply confused about stuff, the last thing I want to do is post something here.

Plus… when I’m in de midst of creative chaos, crushing it, being extremely productive, moving the needle in my work, doing what really matters to me… I don’t give a <insert something decent> about looking for validation on social media.

I just post when I’m most mediocre and closest to normal. That’s not when my best work is created. You have no idea how weird I have to be for the good stuff.

How about you? How are you different in real life from social media? Leave a comment!

About this disgustingly romanticized world breastfeeding week…
