My Heart Will Go On – Titanic – Intermediate Violin Tutorial | Violin Lounge TV #435
Learn to play ‘my heart will go on’ from the movie Titanic on the violin
Hi! I'm Zlata
Classical violinist helping you overcome technical struggles and play with feeling by improving your bow technique.
Making this tutorial took me back to my teenage years. I’ve watched Titanic so many times!
As a girl I saved up my babysitting money to watch Titanic as often as possible in the cinema. For those who forgot what that is because of a long pandemic: it’s a place with a big screen where you watch a movie with a load of people in one room and eat sticky popcorn.
For effective practicing together with the accompaniment track, I recommend the Tomplay Sheet Music app I show in the video. To have access to the complete Violin Sheet Music Catalogue, you can get a 14-day FREE trial and by using the promo code VIOLINLOUNGE30, you get a 30% discount on your subscription afterwards. I watched Titanic many times. The movie was great! I thought the musicians were incredibly brave. But what ruined the story for me was the arrogance of the ship builder to rationalize that the walls did not have to go all the way up. The other was the captain. He threw caution to the wind by not reading and taking appropriate action to stay out of the iceberg fields and then going full speed ahead. I am sorry but I served 22 years in the United States Navy. However, the panorama of the Grand Staircase, First Class Dining Room, and the First Class accommodations. It was indeed a luxury cruise ship for the elite. The first time I saw the movie I was mesmerized by everything on the screen. It was beautiful.
Yes, I loved it too, Robert. In my teens I considered going into the navy here as well. I wonder how that would’ve turned out, haha!
That was beautiful Zlata !!
Thank you, Brian!
A beautiful performance of a beautiful piece of music. Thank you Zlata!
