Do new year plans make you feel overwhelmed? Try this!
You guys are probably fun creative people overflowing with brilliant ideas
If so, making a plan for the new year might make you feel even more overwhelmed and pressured than you already are.
Now I’ve found a great new year ‘planning’ tool that helped me a lot: the Shelf ©. It made me feel so good! 🤩
If you’re excited to do or create many different things, there’s no need to tap into your intuition and jot down more stuff to your to-do list.
Instead start writing down all the ideas you have that are not a ‘heavens yes’. If you feel even 1% meh or a little doubt, put this idea on ‘the Shelf’.
Hi! I'm Zlata
I'm writing a book about how I got more freedom and time for myself, because I had 3 babies in 1,5 year. Interested?
The Shelf helps to get those ideas out of your head and onto the paper. You’ll gain focus on what matters most and you ditch the clutter that lingers in your beautiful chaotic creative brain.
Personally I find it hard to curate my ideas for the two or three that’ll really move the needle. However first creating this shelf, just leaves me automatically with them.
Also I have no guilt for not acting on all those plans, but I can go full throttle for the best one.
Later in the year, when you have executed on your no 1, you’ll always have the Shelf to go back to and find your next no1. Maybe you can tweak one of the ideas and get all excited about it.
Will you create a Shelf? Comment below!
