I'm writing a book about how I got more freedom and time for myself, because I had 3 babies in 1,5 year. Interested?
The women with six to ten kids without laundry machines (heroines!) were mostly busy with their households tasks and making food. There was a thing called laundry day and the whole day they did nothing but the laundry by hand. Now imagine the other household tasks, like killing and plucking a chicken for tonight’s soup.
Thanks to household appliances and grocery shops, we can do stuff with our kids around! We can pursue our interests and passions AND be there for our kids constantly. Oh, and thanks to the internet we can even make money while doing that (with video lessons and online courses, like I do for violin).
My kids entertain each other with their own musical ventures or by pulling each other’s socks off and laughing about their wiggling toes. They would cry if I leave the room, but if I’m there… I can just – be – that’s enough.
