I just finished my NEW home violin studio and would love to have your opinion on some sound and lighting set up.

Recently I moved into my new home and downstairs I have my home violin studio!
In this video I show you around and I would love to have your opinion on some sound and lighting set ups. I’ll demonstrate the difference with a little Mozart.
I’m looking forward creating some awesome videos in this new space and the creative juices are already flowing!

Wow what a beautiful space Zlata! Yes, your sound does definitely improve if you are closer to the microphone. I think it sounds better. What do you think?
Maybe instead of ceiling lights: no ceiling lights on. If you would like to get a better lightning, you can try to put a backlight behind you instead, to have a more beautiful glow/contrast of you against the back wall.
Two key lights from the front instead of one ring light could also improve the lightning, however, that also takes up a lot of space which I can imagine is not worth it (I know what it is like to record videos between lots of lights and technique and it is not very cozy! :D)
Congratulations on your home and your new studio – it must be such a great feeling to be able to have a dedicated workspace to make videos and work on your site.

What a beautiful space Zlata! I am happy for you. The second sound iteration was the best, I thought, and turning the overhead off is preferred for me. I also prefer to have the lamp off in back of you, but that is simply because a lit lamp means it is later in the day, and I am a heavy-duty morning person. A silly reason, I know! Are you eventually going to have a wall hanger for your violin or a table stand? Seeing my violin out and “waiting” just completes the ambience in my own music room. So cozy and inviting! Thanks for showing us around! From time to time, I hope to see how your children are growing.
